Branding Leeds Markets with a focus on customer experience
For the first time ever Leeds City Council wanted to create an identity for all of their market brands, specifically their flagship Leeds Kirkgate Market – the largest covered market in Europe since 1857. Following a multi-agency pitch where our executions shone through, we created the experience-focussed naming, logo, identity and branding for the market and the four halls within the market space, based on the date they were built. This helped with customer navigation and allowed them to explore and shop the market with greater ease. Photography of market traders and the variety of products available within the space supported the branding package and featured on large hanging banners within the market halls.
